Fickle Folks

A trio of traditional British folk songs with lilting melodies are blended into a joyous lively medley which belies the common lyrical theme of love left behind. The arrangement introduces a contrapuntal piccolo obligato, counter melodies and syncopation to achieve a cross rhythmic effect. Scored for 5 C flutes (one doubling picc), 2 altos and one bass.
