Four Excursions

Hand releases his Four Excursions, written when he was a young music composition student. Inspired by the work of Samuel Barber, Hand also admits to influence of Copland, as he builds upon folk music underpinnings in major sevenths and (later) fourths in his exploration of harmony and counterpoint.
