Ragtime Toe Tapper

 

This jazzy ragtime song has only whole, half, and quarter notes. It is a great song to hand out early on. It is easy and sounds great. Introduce easy syncopation with quarter/half/quarter note rhythms. Clarinets do not cross the break. 1st trumpet's highest note is C. Students have a great time stomping their feet at designated times.
