Quick Overview

Philosophically, "Rituals" deals with an aspect of mankind which I find exhilarating. In order for man to attempt to understand the unfathomable, he has incorporated his fears, hates, and loves into religious practices. These practices have always taken the form of ritual. The piece deals with man?s desire to create, to hold, to understand, to capture that unknown through the force, power, and inflexibility of ritual, thus achieving states of ecstasy beyond imagination.
