David Baldwin is Professor of Trumpet at the University of Minnesota School of Music in Minneapolis. He is an active soloist, ensemble player, composer, arranger and teacher. He has over 100 arrangements and compositions with many leading publishers and has received a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and MM, MMA, and DMA degrees from Yale University. From 1969 until 1971, Baldwin was a member of the United States Military Academy Band at West Point, New York. He is also founding Secretary and a past member of the Board of Directors of the International Trumpet Guild. Dr. Baldwin's teachers include Robert Nagel, Raymond Crisara, William Vacchiano, Bernard Adelstein, Charles Gorham and Eric Duro. Alan Raph is a composer, arranger, conductor, multi-instrumentalist (Bass Trombone, Trombone, Tuba, Bass Trumpet, Euphonium, Piano), author, educator, clinician, lecturer, and soloist..A charter member of the American Symphony Orchestra, among others, Mr. Raph holds a Masters in Music Education from Columbia University Teachers College and studied privately with the likes of Nadia Boulanger and John Mehegan. He also has an extensive recording history, having worked with Quincy Jones, Philip Glass, Diana Ross, and many more.
