Theme: "Joyful Songs to God we sing!"
If you are like many choir directors, you can use some help organizing the many facets of your work. That's where Choir Director's Organizer 2008-2009 comes in. Here is what is included:
• Worship Music Planners — one for traditional worship services and one for blended or contemporary worship services.
• Calendars — one three-year-at-a-glance calendar on a single page plus thirteen two-page monthly calendars (August 2008 through August 2009) for more detailed planning.
• Hymn Usage Chart — a list of hymns found in most major denominational and independent hymnals, in alphabetical order. There are blank lines at the end of the list, on which to add hymns, songs, choruses, and so on, that do not appear on the list (August 2008-August 2009).
• Rehearsal Planning Worksheets — one for children's choirs, one for youth choirs, and one for adult choirs, which can also be used for instrumental ensembles.
• Sample Letters — Recruitment, attendance, birthday greeting and "missed you" notes for adults, youth, children and handbell choir members.
• Attendance Records — one for adult/youth choirs (also used by handbell and instrumental ensembles), and one for children's choirs.
• Choir Robe and Folder Assignment Chart — one for choir robes, one for choir folders, and one for those who prefer to combine the robe and folder information on one chart.
• Music Library Card — can be stored as separate sheets or duplicated onto 5" x 7" card stock.
• Instrument and Equipment Form — inventory chart and maintenance chart.
• Music Department Budget Summary — budget form and a budget summary.
