| In early May, Stephen Jaffe was in Lithuania, where he was a judge at the Juventus 2013 International Choral Competition. A few days later, he was back in the USA, at the annual Ceremonial of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, to which he was elected a member last year. |

Last month, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society presented a recital by pianist Marcantonio Barone, which included premieres by Melinda Wagner (Four Pieces for Piano) and Richard Brodhead (Eleven Bagatelles for Piano).
